I call to remembrance my song in the night

I cried out to the Lord with my voice-to God with my voice and he gave ear to me In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord; my hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing, my soul refused to be comforted I remembered God, and was troubled; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed You hold my eyelids open; I am so troubled I cannot speak I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart and my spirit makes diligent search Will the Lord cast off forever? Will He be favourable no more? Has His mercy ceased forever? Has His promise failed forevermore? Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? Psalm 77:1-9 Your way Oh Lord is in the sanctuary And I said this is my anguish; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High I will remember the Works of the Lord, Surely I will remember the works of old I will also meditate on your work and talk of

Let him ask with faith, with no doubting

If anyone of you lacks wisdom, Let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. But let him ask with faith, with no doubting, For Him who doubts is like a wave of the sea Driven and tossed by the wind For let not that man supposes that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double minded man unstable in all His ways Let the lowly brother glory in all his exaltation But the rich in his humiliation because as a flower o the filed he will pass away For no sooner had the sun risen with a burning heat that it withers the grass, its flower falls and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man will also fade away in his pursuits. James 1:5-11 Be swift to hear but slow to speak So then, my beloved brethren let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness and receive with meekness, the implant

Who redeems your life from destruction

Bless the Lord Oh my soul; and all that is within me bless His holy name Bless the Lord Oh my soul and forget not his benefits Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving-kindness And tender mercies Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep his anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities Psalm 103: 1-10 He has removed our transgressions For as the heavens are high above the earth So great are his mercy towards those who fear Him As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103: 11-12 He

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence and with singing Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us and not we ourselves, We are His people and the sheep of His pasture Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise Be thankful to Him and bless His name For the Lord is good and His truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100 The time to favour her is now But You Oh Lord shall endure forever and the remembrance of your name to all generations You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, yes the set time has come For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favour to her dust So the nations shall fear the name of the Lord and all the kings of the earth your glory. For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory He shall regard the prayer of the destitute and shall not despise their prayer Psalm 102 : 12-17 The Lord is great in Zion The Lord i

You called in trouble and I delivered you,

Sing aloud to God our strength; make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob Raise a song and strike the timbrel, the pleasant harp and the lute Blow the trumpet at the time of the new moon on our solemn feast day For this is a statute for Israel, a law of the God of Jacob This He established in Joseph as a testimony when he went throughout the land of Egypt where I heard a language, I did not understand I removed his shoulder from the burden; His hands were freed from the Basket You called in trouble and I delivered you, I answered you in the secret place of thunder I tested you at the waters of Meribah, There shall be no foreign God among you or shall you; nor shall you worship any foreign god Psalm 81:1-9 Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. But my people will not heed my voice and Israel will have none of me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart to walk in their

For a thousand years in your sight are like yesterday

Lord you have been our dwelling place in all the generations Before the mountains were brought forth or ever, You had formed the earth and the world Even from everlasting to everlasting you are God. You turn man to destruction, And say “return Oh children of men” For a thousand years in your sight are like yesterday When it is past and like a watch in the night. You carry them away like a flood, they are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up In the morning it flourishes and grows up; in the evening it is cut down and withers. For we have been consumed by your anger and by your wrath we are terrified You have set our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of your countenance Psalm 90:1-8 Their boast is only labour and sorrow; For all our days have passed away in your wrath, We finish our years like a sigh The days of our lives are seventy years And if by any reason of strength, They are eighty years old, Yet their boast is only labour and sorrow; F

He shall cover you with His feathers

He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortresss; my God in Him, I will trust Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings you shall take refuge His truth shall be your shield and buckler You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, or the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lay waste at noonday A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you Only with your right hand shall you look and see the reward of the wicked Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place, Psalm 91:1-9 He shall give his angels charge over No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give his angels charge over you

I will not fear, what can man do to me?

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! For his mercy endures forever. Let Israel now say, His mercy endures for ever, Let the House of Aaron now say, His mercy endures forever Let those who fear the Lord now say His mercy endures forever I called to the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place The Lord is on my side, I will not fear, what can man do to me? The Lord is for me among those who help me Therefore, I shall see my desire on those who hate me. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes All nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord, I will destroy them They surrounded me, yes they surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord, I will destroy them. The surrounded me like bees, but they were quenched like a fire of thorns For in the name of the Lord, I will destroy them Psalm 118: 1-12 The voice of rejoicing is in the tent of the righteous. You understand my thoughts afar off.

Oh Lord, You have searched me and known me You know my sitting down and my rising up You understand my thoughts afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways, For there is not a word on my tongue for behold O lord you know it altogether You have hedged me behind and before and laid your hand upon me Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, it is high, I cannot attain it. Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? You are there if I make my bed in hell, behold you are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea Even there your hand shall lead me and your right hand shall hold me Psalm 139:1-10 The night shines as the day If I say “surely, the darkness shall fall on me,” even the night shall be light about me Indeed the darkness shall not hide from you, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You. Psalm 139:11-12 You covered me in my moth

You have put gladness in my heart

But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly, the Lord will hear when I call to Him. Be angry and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. There are many who say who will show us any good Lord lift up the light of your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart more than in season when their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace and sleep, for you O lord make mw dwell in safety. Psalm 4:3-8 You shall hear in the morning O Lord, Give ear to my words O Lord, consider my meditation Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God for to you I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning O Lord, In the Morning I will direct it to you and I will look up For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with you. The boastful shall not stand in your sight, you hate all workers of iniquity. You shall destroy th

But let each examine his own work

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of genteelness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself But let each examine his own work and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone and not in another. Galatians 6: 1-4 God is not mocked, Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the spirit will of the spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:6-8 We will reap in due season And let us not grow weary of doing well for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do well to all especially those who of the household of faith.

He is the one who made everything

The Lord made the earth by His power; By His wisdom He created the world And stretched out the heavens At His command, the waters above the sky roar; He brings cloud from the ends of the earth He makes lightning flash in the rain and sends the winds from His store room At the sight of this, people feel stupid and senseless Those who make idols are disillusioned, because the gods they make are false and lifeless They are worthless and should be despised They will be destroyed when the Lord comes to deal with them The God of Jacob is not like them. He is the one who made everything And He has chosen Israel to be His own very people. The Lord Almighty is His name. Jeremiah 10 12-16 I will make you well again But now, all who devour you will be devoured And all your enemies will be taken away as prisoners All who oppress you will be oppressed And all who plunder you will be plundered I will make you well again I will heal your wounds Though your enemies say: ‘Zion is an outcast, no one c

How excellent is your name

Oh Lord our God, how excellent is your name in all the earth, Who have seat your glory above the heavens Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of your enemies, that you may silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him and the son of man that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honour. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet All sheep and oxen even the beasts of the filed The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O Lord our Lord. How excellent is your name. Psalm 8 Whom shall I fear? The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against

I know your deeds

These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead., Wake up, strengthen what remains and is about to die For I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember therefore, what you have received and heard, obey it and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief and you will not know what time I will come to you. Revelations 3:1-3 I will never blot out his name from the book of life Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes, they will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will like them be dressed in white, I will never blot out his name from the book of life but will acknowledge His name before my father and His angels. He, who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches. Revelations 3:4-6 An open door that no one can shut. I know your deeds, see; I have placed before yo
