My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ in partiality. For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, And you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place and say to the poor man “you stand there”, “or “sit here at my footstool” Have you not shown partiality among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom? Which he promised to those who love Him? James 2:1-5 But you have dishonoured the poor man But you have dishonoured the poor man Do no the rich oppress and drag you into the courts? Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called If you really fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself,” you do well; But if you show partiality, you com

I declare that your steadfast love is established forever; your faithfulness is as firm as the heavens. You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to my servant David: ‘I will establish your descendants forever, and build your throne for all generations.’ ” Selah Let the heavens praise your wonders, O LORD, your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones. Psalm 89: 1-5 You rule the raging of the sea For who in the skies can be compared to the LORD? Who among the heavenly beings is like the LORD, a God feared in the council of the holy ones, great and awesome above all that are around him? O LORD God of hosts, who is as mighty as you, O LORD? Your faithfulness surrounds you. You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, you still them. Psalm 89: 6-9 Happy are the people, who know the fest

Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people

Praise the LORD! O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Who can utter the mighty doings of the LORD, or declare all his praise? Happy are those who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times. Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people; help me when you deliver them; that I may see the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory in your heritage. Both we and our ancestors have sinned; we have committed iniquity, have done wickedly. Psalm 106 : 1-6 Yet he saved them for his name's sake, Our ancestors, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wonderful works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled against the Most High at the Red Sea. Yet he saved them for his name's sake, so that he might make known his mighty power. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it became dry; he led them through the deep as through a desert. Psalm 106 : 7

I will not fear, what can man do to me?

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! For his mercy endures forever. Let Israel now say, His mercy endures for ever, Let the House of Aaron now say, His mercy endures forever Let those who fear the Lord now say His mercy endures forever I called to the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place The Lord is on my side, I will not fear, what can man do to me? The Lord is for me among those who help me Therefore, I shall see my desire on those who hate me. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes All nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord, I will destroy them They surrounded me, yes they surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord, I will destroy them. The surrounded me like bees, but they were quenched like a fire of thorns For in the name of the Lord, I will destroy them Psalm 118: 1-12 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tent of the righteou

He might show the exceeding riches of His grace

But God, who is rich in mercy because of His great love with which he loved us, Even when we were dead in trespasses made us alive together with Christ (buy grace you have been saved). And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That in the ages to come, He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His loving kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of your selves, it is the gift of God, Not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:4-10 The law of commandments Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace. And that he might reconcile them both to God in one body though the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And h

Does not the potter have power over the clay?

Does not the potter have power over the clay? From the same lump to make one vessel for honour and one vessel for dishonour? What if God wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known endured with much long suffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction. And that he might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy which he had prepared beforehand for glory. Even as whom he called; not of the Jews only but also of the Gentiles? As he says also in Hosea, I will call them my people who were not my people and her beloved who was not beloved. And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, “you are not my people,” there they shall be called sons of God. Romans 9; 21-27 Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel, Children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant will be saved For he will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, for the Lord shall make a short work upon the earth.

You called in trouble and I delivered you,

Sing aloud to God our strength; make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob Raise a song and strike the timbrel, the pleasant harp and the lute Blow the trumpet at the time of the new moon on our solemn feast day For this is a statute for Israel, a law of the God of Jacob This He established in Joseph as a testimony when he went throughout the land of Egypt where I heard a language, I did not understand I removed his shoulder from the burden; His hands were freed from the Basket You called in trouble and I delivered you, I answered you in the secret place of thunder I tested you at the waters of Meribah, There shall be no foreign God among you or shall you; nor shall you worship any foreign god Psalm 81:1-9 Open your mouth wide and I will fill it I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. But my people will not heed my voice and Israel will have none of me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart to walk in their

May the mountains yield prosperity for the people

Give the king your justice, O God, and your righteousness to a king's son. May he judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. May the mountains yield prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness. May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the needy, and crush the oppressor. May he live while the sun endures, and as long as the moon, throughout all generations. May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth. In his days may righteousness flourish and peace abound, until the moon is no more. Psalm 72: 1-7 May his foes bow down before him, May he have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. May his foes bow down before him, and his enemies lick the dust. May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts. May all kings fall down before him, all nations give him service. Psalm 72: 8-11 He redeems the

For the righteous will never be moved

Praise the LORD! Happy are those who fear the LORD, who greatly delight in his commandments. Their descendants will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever. They rise in the darkness as a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with those who deal generously and lend, who conduct their affairs with justice. For the righteous will never be moved; they will be remembered forever.
