Don’t Sweat It, Rest!- Joseph Prince

Image
Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.” Ruth 3:18 God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything! When you are resting in God, He works for you. In fact, when He works, you end up with more. He is the one who is giving to you. It is not about you trying to give to yourself. This was what happened to Ruth in the Old Testament. After laboring in the barley fields from morning to evening, she was able to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17), which was equivalent to a 10-day supply of barley. Certainly, this amount was a b

God Gives You Power To Get Wealth-Joseph Prince

Deuteronomy 8:18 18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. The idea that poverty is holy and wealth a curse never came from God. It came from the devil who wants you poor. He robs and steals from you (John 10:10), and even wants you to have a poverty mentality to keep you poor! God, however, wants you to prosper. And He does it by giving you the power to get wealth. Having this power means that if you are a businessman, you will find yourself full of innovative ideas that will bring in huge profits for your company. Even as a salaried worker, you will find yourself promoted quickly because your organization values your contributions highly. God wants to prosper you like how He prospered Abraham — in all things (Genesis 24:1) — so that He can fulfill the covenant He made with Abraham. G

Be Worry Free And Enjoy Divine Health

Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? Matthew 6:27 I never knew how much love and attention I could give to a little baby until I had Jessica. When my daughter was born, I loved her so much that I became overly concerned about her. Every time she fell sick, I would worry. The more concerned I was about her health, the more she fell sick. When she recovered from a viral attack, a few weeks later, she would have another viral attack. If it was not a viral attack, it would be some other physical ailment. And the more her health was attacked, the more worried I got. Then, God began to speak to me. He said, “Your very worry over your daughter is stopping the supply of My health and healing to her. Cast your daughter into My hands and be carefree, then health and healing will flow!” I did what God told me to do and Jessica began to fall sick less often and became increasingly more robust in her health. I experienced the same thing with

Done As You Have Believed-Joseph Prince

Matthew 8:13 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. What are you expecting God to do for you today? Do you believe that God will respond according to your expectation? When Jairus, distraught at the sickness that was claiming his daughter’s life, fell at Jesus’ feet, he entreated Jesus to personally come to his house to lay His hands on his daughter so that she would be healed. (Mark 5:23) But do you know that Jesus can heal at a distance? He didn’t need to go to Jairus’ house to heal his daughter. Still, Jesus went and didn’t even chide Jairus for his little faith. He met Jairus’ expectation — his little daughter was raised from the dead that day. (Mark 5:41–42) Why do I say that Jairus had little faith? Because there was a Roman centurion who came to Jesus about his servant suffering at home. He rec

‘The Lord Our Righteousness’

“…I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries…and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the Lord. “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “…a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth…now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Jeremiah 23:3-6 There’s almost nothing more tender than the picture of a shepherd lovingly caring for his sheep.Jeremiah 23:3-4 demonstrates a good shepherd’s heart—to gather, protect and feed his sheep so that they will “be fruitful and increase” . Jesus, our good shepherd, does all this through shepherds (pastors and teachers) He appoints over His people. Their role in representing Him is not to beat (shame) or fleece (financially exploit) the sheep, but to feed them such

Jesus Gives You Rest

…Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28, NLT You don’t need to be a Bible scholar or theologian to understand rest. You just need to be someone who knows Jesus, because it is Jesus who gives you rest! My friend, perhaps you’re dealing with a challenging physical condition in your body today. And if you are weary, confused and tired because of all your efforts to get healed, just go to Him right now and tell Him, “Jesus, I’m so tired and confused. I’m scared too. Please hold me in Your arms and give me rest.” You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to. You can just cry in His presence. Beloved, He already knows all that you are going through. And the One who bottles your tears will surely rest you and give you peace. He will lift you up and strengthen you until you are full of His shalom-peace—inside and out! Blessings, Joseph Prince

Only Jesus Is Altogether Lovely Leviticus 2:1 1‘When anyone offers a grain offering to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour...Joseph Prince

I love the symbolism of Jesus as fine flour. Fine, even flour comes from wheat that has been pounded and beaten again and again, and sifted several times. Doesn’t that remind you of Jesus’ sufferings and sacrifice for you? And like fine flour, there is nothing coarse about the person of Jesus. Everything about Him is in even proportions. Every word that He spoke when He was in this world, every thought of His, every action of His, was so fine! When He was kind, He was not soft. When He was assertive, He was not overbearing. He is steel and velvet, meekness and majesty. Like a perfect diamond, every which way you turn Him, you see flawlessness, beauty and brilliance. There is no one altogether lovely like Jesus! What about Bible greats like Moses and Abraham, or Peter, John and Paul? Moses, whom the Bible says was more humble than any man on the face of the earth (Numbers 12:3), was once so furious with his people that he struck a rock twice,

The Spirit’s Rest And Refreshing-Joseph Prince

For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people, to whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” and, “This is the refreshing”… Isaiah 28:11-12 You’ve probably heard of the term “R&R.” It’s commonly used in the military and it means “rest and relaxation” after some exhausting overseas training or mission. Doctors also order “rest and rehabilitation” for the injured and sick.My friend, God has an R&R for you too. It’s called “the rest and the refreshing” , and it comes through praying in the Holy Spirit or tongues. One of the best ways to rest and be refreshed, especially when you are worried, fatigued or just waiting for the manifestation of your healing, is to pray in the Holy Spirit. Beloved, give yourself some time every day to pray in the Spirit, and allow Him to rejuvenate and refresh you supernaturally! Blessings, Joseph Prince

Look Unto Jesus-Joseph Prince

Hebrews 12:2 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith… What does it mean to look unto Jesus? Well, we can think of it like this: If you are drowning and somebody walks past you, you do not look at him. You look unto him. When you look unto him, you are turning to him and expecting him to rescue you. In the same manner, you look unto Jesus expecting Him to save, heal and protect you because you know His mighty power and sacrificial love for you. God’s Word says that we are to keep “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith”. That is how God wants us to live. So if you have a recurring migraine, keep looking unto Jesus. See Him taking that migraine upon His body on the cross and say, “Lord, I thank You that by Your stripes I am healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) As you keep looking unto Jesus, your healer, that migraine will have to bow to His finished work! If you have a financial lack in your li

Working Out Of Rest-Joseph Prince

Hebrews 4:3 3 For we who have believed do enter that rest… Naturally speaking, when we rest, we don’t work. So what does working out of rest mean? Well, let me explain by sharing with you what the Lord had taught me. Many years ago, when I first started preaching, I would prepare diligently for all my sermons. I fine-tuned my points and made sure that everything was in place. I would think to myself, “Man, I am going to share this... and that…” But when I preached, I would forget to mention certain points. Because of that, I would get angry with myself. I would tell myself, “That was such a good point. Why didn’t I remember to share it?” Then, God began to speak to me. He said, “Son, your preaching is not out of rest. It is out of your memory.” What He said next changed my life, not just in the area of preaching, but also in every other area, and I pray that it will bless you too. He said, “Prepare everything you need

A Robust Revelation Of Your Righteousness

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness… Isaiah 61:10 I really want you to reign in all areas of life by receiving a robust revelation of your righteousness in Christ. You grow in this revelation the more you hear about what Jesus has accomplished for you at the cross. The Bible tells us that blessings crown the head of the righteous. So the larger the revelation of your righteousness in Christ and the more you are established in it, the more you will see God’s blessings manifest in your life. Let me put it another way: See the robe of righteousness that God has already clothed you with having pockets labeled “favor” , “healing” , “deliverance” , “provision” , “wisdom” , “family blessings” and so on. The more conscious you are of this robe on you, the more you will experience the good gifts that come with it and live a purpos

Go Forth Neither Poor Nor Feeble!-Joseph Prince

Psalm 105:37 37 He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes. When the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt, they lived in poverty and faced daily hardships from their cruel taskmasters. Scars and fresh lashes from their masters’ whips covered their bodies. The blistering heat of Egypt caused excruciating sores to fester. Many of them were bent over because of the long hours spent carrying tons of bricks and mortar. Slaving away for long hours under harsh conditions added years to them. And with no proper nourishment, many of them were feeble and emaciated. But something happened to them on the night of the Passover. (Exodus 12) With the blood of the lamb applied on their doorposts, they came under God’s protection. And inside their homes, as instructed by God, they ate the lamb roasted in fire. I believe that those who were blind ate the eyes of the lamb, believing that the

Freedom From Destructive Habits

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” John 8:11 I’ve received so many testimonies from people who have been set free from destructive habits. These are sincere and precious people who desired to experience breakthroughs but did not know how to. However, once they learned about righteousness that comes from Christ apart from their works, they began to confess that they were still the righteousness of God every time they felt tempted. And bit by bit, the more they started to believe that they were righteous in Christ, and the more they refused to accept the condemnation for their past mistakes and for their present temptation, the more they became set free from the very addictions that bound them! Beloved, God does not want you to sin because sin will destroy you. But even if you have failed, you must know this: There is no condemnation because you are IN CHRIST JESUS and your sins are washed away by His blood! When God l

Right Place, Right Time Ecclesiastes 9:11 11… the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

God’s Word tells us that being faster, stronger and wiser does not automatically make you a winner in life. No, it is actually being at the right place at the right time that causes you to receive blessings. And God, who holds time and chance in His hands, is the only one who can put you at the right place at the right time. He did this for Ruth. She trusted God for favor when she went looking for a field in which to glean. (Ruth 2:2) Then, the Bible tells us that “she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech”. (Ruth 2:3) Of all the fields in Bethlehem, she happened to end up in Boaz’s field, and he was a close relative of Elimelech, her father-in-law. This meant that Boaz was her potential kinsman redeemer, someone who could redeem her from her plight as a young, childless widow in a foreign land. Boaz also happened to be “a man of great wealth” (Ruth 2:1), and as it turned out, he was wi

Joseph Prince-“undeserved, unearned and unmerited favor”.

The grace of God is defined as “undeserved, unearned and unmerited favor”. And one of the definitions for favor is “preferential treatment”! Today, God wants you to know that you have His favor on you. He wants you to know that He gives you preferential treatment which you do not deserve. And He wants you to depend on and take full advantage of it in your life.

Good things-Joseph Prince

Dear friends, Having good things happening to you does not depend on who you are, what academic qualifications you hold or what your profession is. Good things happen to you when you simply believe that God loves you! He loves you all the time. Even when you fail, He loves you! His love is not like our love. Our love is conditional, but His love is not contingent on our behavior. It is contingent entirely on His grace and the work of His Son Jesus Christ. www.gracehope.com/JosephPrince

Tread Where Jesus Treads

You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance. Psalm 65:11 Regardless of what experts say about the current economic situation, I have good news for you. As a child of God, your blessings this year are not dependent on the ebb and flow of the stock market. You can expect good things to happen to you this year because God’s Word declares it: “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance”! “Pastor Prince, God’s Word says it, but how do I see it?” Great question! The key to experiencing the blessings lies in Psalm 65:11 itself—”Your paths drip with abundance”. In order to see His paths dripping with abundance, you would need to follow Him, wouldn’t you? So to experience the Lord’s goodness and abundance this year, keep listening to and beholding His grace and finished work. It’s easy to follow His leading when you are tuned to and meditating on His grace. And when you tread where He treads, you will ru

Make Your Temple A House Of Prayer-Joseph Prince

Mark 11:17 17 Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves’.” It would be great if every time we prayed, the answers came quickly. Thank God for immediate results, but what do we do when the results are not immediate? The promises of God are there for us, but when they have yet to manifest in our circumstances, what should we do in the meantime? Jesus showed us what to do. After He had cursed the fig tree, the tree did not wither immediately. (Mark 11:14) What did He do then? He went to the temple in Jerusalem and cleansed it, saying that it should be a house of prayer and not a den of thieves. (Mark 11:15–17) After cleansing the temple, when the disciples saw the same fig tree the next day, it had dried up from its roots! (Mark 11:20–21) Today, you are the temple of God. (1 Corinthians 3:16) And your temple should

…we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment. Psalm 66:12 Are you in a situation where people are stepping all over you and they seem to have the upper hand? You feel as if the challenge you are facing is so big that you are going through fire. And you are so overwhelmed by everything that is happening around you that you feel as if you are drowning. My friend, I want you to know that your heavenly Father hears your cry for help and He will rescue you. The psalmist says that “we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment”. If you have been through the fire and water, then your next stop is a place of rich fulfillment or abundance! This place of abundance was indeed the next stop for a church member who had suddenly found himself facing allegations involving some money laundering activities within the bank where he was one of the top executives. Investigations later exonerated him, but b

REINHARD BONNKE.-He delights to do the impossible.

"By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command" (Heb. 11:23). Just think of what that involved. The Egyptian state and Pharaoh, its head, had made it illegal to keep a Hebrew baby-boy. By law, such children were to be killed at birth. Soldiers moved around to carry out this order ... . What terror and grief there must have been! Then Moses was born. His parents looked upon this lovely son, and decided to defy the law and hide the baby. "By faith . . . they were not afraid.” Officers of the law were around, and their footsteps were heard stopping at their very door, seeking the child's life! Who would not shake in their shoes if armed men were waiting, ordered to kill their baby? Yet, "they were not afraid.” This is a glorious truth: FAITH CANCELS FEAR. Their faith may have looked naive and foolish. But the situation was exact

REINHARD BONNKE - “FAITH –

Here are some foundational truths of the Christian Faith: To be believers, we should know what we believe, and Whom we believe. The most basic lesson is that we must take the Word of God at its face value. Without knowing God’s will, faith is impossible. The Bible is the eternal will of God. To question Scripture is to question the only guide that we have, and to question God. The Word of God is a ... n ultimatum, not an alternative or option for discussion. Democratic vote or consensus does not decide Bible truth. “Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89). The Bible is the Constitution of the Kingdom of God, and no two-thirds majority of any parliament on earth can change it. God bless you and Good Morning from Florida. Numbers 21:9 9 So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. "Pastor Prince, I know that God is my healer. But why is this sickness and pain still in my body?” If you have been looking at your sickness and pain all this while, stop looking at yourself and start looking at Jesus. Did He or did He not take upon Himself your sickness and pain? God’s Word declares, “Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, and our pains — he hath carried them…” (Isaiah 53:4, YLT) Since Jesus has already taken your sickness and pain at the cross, then He cannot “untake” them. Even if you find it hard to believe that Jesus has paid for your healing, especially when the pain is unbearable, the truth is that it is still paid for. It is a finished work! God is not saying that your sickness does not exist, nor is He asking you to pretend that it
